Embattled Rapper Emmanuel Botwe aka Kwaw Kese has been refused bail for the second consecutive time after being remanded to two weeks in prison. The "King of the Streets" was apprehended for allegedly smoking cannabis and has since been under Police custody in the Ashanti region. He appeared before court today but was once again been remanded to another two weeks in Kumasi Central Prison. According to Peacefmonline.com's Entertainment Publicist Eugene Osafo- Nkansah who was at the Courtroom, Lawyer for Kwaw Kese pleaded with the court to grant his client bail but his plea was turned down. This is due to the delay on the part of the prosecuting officer Emmanuel Akonnor, who is the head of judicial Police for the Ashanti region that the forensics test and results were not ready to be submitted to the court. The court presided by Circuit Court Judge William Buampong adjourned proceedings to Monday, 22nd December, 2014.
