Edward Agyekum Kufuor, son of former President John Agyekum Kufuor on his father�s 76th birthday has wished God�s blessings and Good Health for him in the years ahead of his life. �I thank my father for bringing me to this world and I wish the blessings of God for him and increase his life span and lift his name before the eyes of the world so that Ghana will continue to benefit from his integrity�, he prayed. Speaking to the host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Okay Fm�s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Edward Agyekum Kufuor said he is proud of his father [Ex-President Kufuor] as he moved the country forward progressively during his 8 years as President. To him, his father is worth celebrating because his reign as President of Ghana brought respect to the country as Ghanaians were proud to reveal their identities to the world, praying that the 76th birthday of his father will release blessing to the entire country as he continues his work internationally. �What I have seen is that during his tenure in office as President for 8 years, Ghana moved forward progressively and Ghanaians all over the world were proud to be called Ghanaians�..so if God has given him 76 years, all I wish for him is long life, strength, and good health. May God bless him so that the entire country can tap from his blessings; every movement, thought and action should be blessed by God", he stated. He however extended his appreciation to his mother Madam Theresa Kufuor for being a good wife and mother to the Kufuor family as every achievement made by the former President has been possible due to the over 50 years in marriage support she has and continuously offer.
