NSS and NDC's Sophia Ackuaku Crowned Nkosuohenebea Of Adenkrebi

Nana Ankama I, Chief of Adenkrebi in the Ga East Municipal Assembly has bestowed on Mrs. Sophia Ackuaku, the Deputy Director of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS), the title of Nkosuohenebea of Adekrebi. She is known as Nana Afia Amponsah Akuaku I. At a very colourful event over the weekend, Mrs. Akuaku was honoured for her commitment to the development of the town and the Dome-Kwabenya constituency as a whole. According to Nana Ankama I, even after losing the Parliamentary elections Afia Amponsah Akuaku I as she is now known never reneged on her promise to help provide potable drinking water to the people of Adenkrebi. �..she also helped to build classroom blocks and a teachers� living quarters for the basic school here in Adenkrabi. Our newly installed Nkosuohenebea has also contributed immensely to bring electricity to this community. It is therefore worthy to honour such a person who has devoted her time and resources to better the lot of others�. �Just as she has placed us on her heart, we want to show to her that we will hold her in high esteem� the Chief of Adenkrebi said. In her acceptance speech, Nana Afia Amponsah Akuaku I was full of gratitude to the Chiefs and people of Adenkrabi for the honour done her. She also pledged to do all within her power as the Nkosuohenebea of Adenkrebi to help project the image of the town and open up opportunities for its youth. �The future of our youth is what is paramount to me and I will make sure I help in my little way to help them achieve their dreams of a better future. I pledge to respond to their call no matter the time of day,� she said.
