The President�s nominee for the new Power Ministry, Hon Kwabena Donkor appears before parliament�s appointment committee this morning to be vetted as nominee for the ministry of power.
In recent times, Kwabena Donkor has been a fierce critic of his colleagues at the ministry of energy; accusing them of intellectual laziness. Dr Donkor has even said that the power crisis being experienced currently is a result of intellectual laziness.
Dr Donkor is also said to have had very frosty and difficult relations with Dr Oteng Adjei when he, Donkor, was a deputy minister at the Energy Ministry, serving under Dr Oteng adjei who was minister. So bad was the relationship that Dr Oteng ADJEI asked President Mills to remove kwabena Donkor as minister. Thus Hon. Kwabena Donkor was removed from the ministry and has since continued to criticize his colleagues at the ministry.
As he appears before Parliament today, Ghanaians will be waiting for the magic wand that Kwabena Donkor will bring to the ministry
