A heavy trailer which was carrying 580 bags of cocoa was grounded to a halt when it caught fire yesterday. The unfortunate incident is said to have occurred on the N1 around 9pm.
It took a team of fire officers and police man to tame the wild fire.
The driver of the vehicle with registration number GW 1949 U informed UTV that he was transporting the commodities from the Ashanti Region to Tema Harbour for exportation when the unfortunate incident happened.
