The Chief Executive Officer of Special Ice Company Limited, Mr. Ernest Ofori SarponG has received an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Philosophy in Law from the Barkley University, United States of America (USA). This adds up to the many prestigious awards, Mr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong has received for his immense impact and contribution to bettering the lives of Ghanaians. According to the President of Peristrofi World Honorary International Award Conference,Dr. Divine Gabriel Brefo, the award is being bestowed on Mr. Ofori Sarpong for his contributions to the socio-economic development of Ghana �and the industrialization of the World�. �As the World has become one through globalization, therefore any input that anyone makes in any country affects the world, so the World has recognized his numerous contributions in terms of the area of entrepreneurship, in terms of production. �Barkley has therefore recognized his numerous contributions and decided, under the auspices of Peristrofi World Honorary International Award Conference to confer on him an honorary Doctorate Degree of Philosophy in Law,� he said. Receiving the award, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong expressed gratitude to the World Honorary International Award Conference for the recognition and honour done him, and further pledged to work even harder to help raise the standards of living of Ghanaians. �I humbly accept this honour and I believe this will challenge and push me to achieve more.
