The Dev't Is There For People To See...Go To Parliament - Prez Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has directed his critics to the Parliament House to evaluate the loan schemes by his government. Speaking in an interview with Kwame Adinkra on Kumasi-based Angel FM, the President dismissed reports that his government has not been utilizing the loans from foreign organizations and countries to benefit Ghanaians. According to him, he sourced loans in the interest of Ghanaians and to safeguard the economy. And so, to him, whoever doubts his government should go to Parliament for proof of what his administration has achieved with even small loans acquired to undertake projects in the nation. President Mahama stressed that he has not been misusing loans that the government seeks from organizations and further alluded to the Kufour government, which in his conviction, also received loans to govern the country. The development is there for people to seeSo, anybody who seeks to know what we used the loans to achieve; when the person goes to Parliament, they will give them the documents, he said. He told host Kwame Adinkra that some of the loans secured by the government was used to improve the health sector and other sectors of the country. President John Mahama also charged the country's media to publicize the projects that his administration has successfully undertaken with the loans secured.
