NDC Chair Kofi Portuphy And Anita De-Sosoo Must Resign From NADMO Positions

Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency, Hon. Daniel Nii Titus-Glover is calling for the resignation of the recently elected National Chairman of the ruling NDC, Kofi Portuphy and one of his Vice Chairpersons, Anita De-Sosoo from the office of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO). To him they will use state funds to run the 2016 elections campaign. According to the NPP MP, it is constitutionally wrong for the NDC Chairman and one of his Vice Chairpersons to double as the Coordinator and the deputy of NADMO after winning their positions respectively at the NDC National Congress last year, December 20, 2014. Speaking on Oman FMs Morning Show, Hon. Titus-Glover asserted that Kofi Portuphy and Anita De-Sosoo used stated resources and productive hours to aid themselves in their campaign to rise up to their current positions in the ruling NDC. To him, this is happening because Ghanaians are sitting unconcerned to demand of government to do the right things; thus, it was wrong for President Mahama to have appointed Anita De-Sosoo as the deputy national Coordinator of NADMO when she was playing active role as the National Womens Organizer of NDC. This is the time that Kofi Portuphy and Anita De-Sosoo should both resign from NADMO; National Chairman of NDC is managing the resources of National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) of this country...you need to tender your resignation now and Anita as well, they both have to resign. We have to launch a demonstration for their resignation. "This work is a full time job and so why are they still in office, we are just looking at them to do whatever they want in this country?, he asked. He further alleged that it is certain that the NDC is going to use their old trick of giving out gifts to convince Ghanaians to vote for them again in the 2016 election. He believes that explain why the National Chairman of NDC and others are still occupying public seats to divert state funds into the next elections. I am announcing to Ghanaians that in 2016, NDC has no records to prove to us except to give out money freely to convince you for your votes. They will put money in the match boxes again, buy cars for chiefs and female students; I am advising you to be very careful because the money which is meant for development is being giving out to buy your votes, he advised.
