NPP Can't Be Trusted - Ivor Greenstreet

The General Secretary of the CPP has fired another salvo at the two leading political parties in Ghana, NPP and NDC, saying they cannot be trusted to get the country to the promised land of economic prosperity. According Mr. Greenstreet, Ghanaians are tired of the deceptions of the NDC and they cannot also trust the NPP," adding that, the CPP is the only hope available to distressed citizens. Mr Ivor Kobina Greenstreet said this when he met members of the CPP in the Northern regional capital, Tamale, as part of a sensitization tour. The CPP Chief Scribe had toured Kpandai, Wulensi, Bimbilla, Salaga North and South, and spent a night in Salaga during the visitation. The CPP Chief Scribe said, President Mahama must lift his style of leadership and "make an impression on the minds of the many ordinary Ghanaians that his wish, aim and deeds are towards the true realisation of a better Ghana." He called on the "Nkrumahist" parties to work hard for victory in the next elections, saying, "Only if we shall work together as one people entrusted with the responsibility of redeeming Ghana, we shall beat all of them at any election in Ghana. Only the CPP speaks for Ghana because we love Ghana than them all. We must also work with our brothers and sisters in the PNC. Mr. Greenstreet in December 2014, courted controversy when he launched mirroring assessment of the Mahama-led NDC administration at its National Delegates Congress in Kumasi. The CPP Chief Scribe, whiles delivering a solidarity message on behalf of his party, told President Mahama in the face that Nobody is feeling your better Ghana...Continuous dumsor dumsor, corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people. We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other, Mr. Greenstreet posited to loud boos from NDC supporters. However, in a sharp response, President Mahama described critics of his government as people suffering from selective myopia who could not be cured.
