I'm Sure Fifi Kwetey Benefits From Payroll Fraud...I Would've Fired Him If I Were Prez Mahama

I am sure he is benefitting from the fraud but his utterances are not fair.if I were the president, I would have sacked him one time Those were the comments of Founding President and CEO of Policy Think-tank, IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe, on recent remarks by Minister for Food and Agriculture, Fifi Kwetey against his (Cudjoe's) person. Fifi Kwetey, had in an interview with Radio Gold, Tuesday, pooh-poohed the academic credentials of IMANI Boss, Franklin Cudjoe. According to him, it took the head of the policy think tank several attempts to pass his A-level economics. It was quite ironic hearing that this guy was even struggling to pass his A-level economics. He had to take it many times. While he took three years, three different attempts to get A in economics, I took half of that time and below to obtain it. I got A in not just economics but in all my subjects in one year and my record is there in Achimota School, he said on Radio Gold. Franklin Cudjoe and his Deputy Kofi Bentil as expected did not allow the Agric Minister to go scot free; they also took him to the cleaners. IMANI Ghana, had in an earlier statement, charged government to adopt stringent measures to fix the messy mechanized payroll. According to him, it is wrong for workers as old as 100 years and below 18 years to be on governments payroll. "Some of these people are on retirement and others are forged names," the IMANI Boss said and urged the Controller and Accountant Generals Department to get to the bottom of this scandal. Franklin told Nana Yaw Kesse, host of PEACE FM's "Kokrokoo" that these are the issues that should engage the attention of Fifi Kwetey and not the academic credentials of a government critic. I am sure he is benefitting from the fraud but his utterances are not fair.if I were the president, I would have sacked him one time. You cannot do this in Kufuors administrationWhat will the insults do? he wondered.
