Ghanaians Urged To Serve As Worthy Ambassadors

Ghanaians, especially Ahmadi Muslims, have been called upon to strive to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner as the campaign for the 2016 elections approaches to serve as a worthy ambassadors for others in the country and beyond.

By living peaceful and worthy lives, Ahmadi Muslims could be said to be dedicating their lives for the propagation of the ideals of Ahmadiyyat, as their forefathers had done.

Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, the Maulvi and Ameer in charge of the Ahmadiyya Mission in Ghana, made the call when he inaugurated the newly created Central East Headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission at Gomoa Mangoase, near Agona Swedru in the Central Region.

He said the Central Region had been divided into two separate administrative layouts of Central East and Central West, to ensure rapid expansion and development.

Alhaji Bin Salih said the Central East comprised Agona, Gomoa, Gomoa Eshiem, Asikuma, Denkyira Essiam, Mankrong, Mando and Brakwa circuits.

He said those in the Central West were:  Mankessim, Cape Coast, Abura, Otuam, Essankyir, Assin South, Assin North and Twifo Praso circuits.

Ameer Alhaji Bin Salih said the Ahmadiyya Mission was working relentlessly to bring back the ideals which included peaceful co-existence, to ensure that the pristine purity of Islam was not lost on the youth.

He commended the early Ahmadi converts at Mangoase for their untiring efforts in establishing the Ahmadiyyat on their soil.

The Headmaster of Gomoa Potsin T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Mr Nasir Keelson, who is also the President of the newly created Central East Circuit, said it was through the dedicated service of the converts, especially one Opanyin Suleiman Kwame Edu, that the mission was established at Mangoase.
