Angry NPP Delegates Storm NPP Headquarters

Scores of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters from the Ablekuma West constituency in the Greater Accra Region on Thursday stormed the party's headquarters to protest a decision by the General Secretary to suspend vetting in the constitutuecy.

The angyry NPP supporters claimed the party's scribe has taken them for granted and never bothered to attend to issues affecting them.

According to the NPP supporters, Kwabena Agyapong claimed there is an injunction placed on the vetting in the constituency hence his decision to halt vetting scheduled for Thursday.

Adom News’ Yaa Eliza Baby reported from the party's headquarters in Asylum Down that the party members demanded upon arrival at the headquarters to see the party scribe and also have a look at the 'so-called injunction letter' from the court which was preventing them from carrying on with vetting.

Kwabena Agyapong was however out of the office.

“Since we had the power to vote him into office, we will once again vote him out if he refused to listen to us.

“He should come out and explain to us and give us a copy of what he took from the court before we leave here...,” a member stated.
