I'm Not A Full Time PoliticianCant Sit NPP Leadership Down To Counsel Them Arthur K

Former flagbearer hopeful of the NPP, Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy has said that, sitting down his party leadership to counsel them on how to manage internal wrangling in the party will be impossible for him to do.

Why?, He explained that politics is not his full time business, thus, he has no time for the NPP party’s leadership.

According to him, the only channel to address and counsel the NPP is via his numerous letters to the party which sometimes generate controversy in the media.

I am not a full time politician to call A B C in the NPP to meet with them and advise them…that will be a waste of time. Even afterwards they will start distorting it but when it is public everyone would recognise it,” he said.

Dr. Arthur Kennedy, who accused NPP’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in his recent letter to the party of planning to remove National Chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong from office, noted that the NPP always prefer issues concerning the party to be resolved publicly so he will treat them that way.

Years ago, I sent a memo to some executives of the party with the caption ‘For your eyes only’ later, the memo was leaked to the media. So if they will do that, why don’t I give it to the press so I know everyone has it? He quizzed.

Despite accusing Nana Addo as the root of NPP’s problems, Dr. Arthur Kennedy stated on OKAY FM’s Ade Akye Abia morning show that he fully backs Nana Addo Dankwa’s candidature.

I support Nana Addo but I want him to also support Paul Afoko because the NPP voted him as Chairman. I want him [Nana Addo] to support Kwabena Agyapong because he was voted as the General Secretary and I want Paul and Kwabena to also support Nana Addo. We should all work together and win 2016 election,” he said.
