GLICO Presents GHC 250,000.00 To Black Satellites Ahead of FIFA U-20 World Cup

The life insurance company on Wednesday presented a cheque for GHC 250,000.00 to the Ghana Football Association as sign to motivate the team ahead of the tournament in New Zealand. This however serves as a major boost for the team who are currently pitching camp in Australia. GLICO in addition has promised the team GHC 500 for every goal scored at the Group Stage as well as GHC 600 for a goal scored at the knockout face. The team will further get GHC 800 for each goal scored at the finals should they book a place to compete for the trophy. The Black Satellites will be participating in their eighth FIFA U20 World Cup and are bent on repeating a successful feat chalked in 2009 when they won the competition for the first time in history.
