Adams' Death Is As A Result Of Leadership Failure- Alhaji Ibrahim Dori

The assassination of Adams Mahama, the former Upper East Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, has sent shock waves across Ghana.

Latest to comment on the issue is Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, a member of the National Democratic Congress who is saddened by the continuous confusion that keeps rocking the NPP.

He described the late Adams Mahama as a good friend he used to work with in the construction field and labelled the developments that led to his untimely demise, “unfortunate”.

My sympathy goes to the family of Adam Akalbilla who happens to be my good friend and a colleague contractor”, he sadly said.

In an interview with the NDC scribe, he blamed the leadership of the NPP for failing to nip their internal wrangling in the bud. According to him the leaders of the party were to be blamed for the loss of Adam’s live.

The leadership of the party led by Nana Akufo Addo and the entire NEC have constantly denied the existence of an internal feud. They also failed to take measures to resolve the situation among the party hierarchy”.

He further urged the NDC government to treat the issue as a national security issue since it goes beyond an internal party matter and has the tendency of compromising the national peace and cohesion of Ghana.

This is criminal, scandalous and must not be entertained in any political party”, he warned.
