I Forgive My �Detractors� �MP Aspirant

One of the Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates for the Klottey Korle Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nii Noi Nortey has asked God to forgive all those who are ever working so hard to undermine his parliamentary ambitions.

Nii Noi Nortey who is the immediate past Constituency Chairman of the NPP made this statement when he was making donations to the Muslim delegates at Kwei Larbi electoral area in Tudu at the end of the Eid Fitr.

He said, “a lot has gone on in this parliamentary primaries in this constituency; the lies, name calling and above all the character assassination aimed at my person because some people think they are born to lead, and that without them, the world should stand still.”

The former Constituency Chairman said he could have jumped into the gutters with those people, but for the sake of unity required to go into the 2016 elections, he has decided to forgive them and pray that Almighty Allah forgives them on his behalf, during the celebration of Eid Fitr. He called on the all Muslims to use the festival to intercede on behalf of those who seek the down fall of the New Patriotic Party.

Nii Noi Nortey noted that he would forever respect his contenders as his older brothers before, during and after the parliamentary primaries, because he would need all of them “to wrestle power from the wicked arms of the National Democratic Congress.”

The former NPP Chairman presented 25 bags of rice, cartons of cooking oil, cartons of tin tomatoes and a fowl each to the delegates.

In presenting the items, the aspirant, told the gathering not to engage in any act that has the potential of putting the party apart.

“Never respond to them when they insult you or your preferred aspirant, because we need them more than they need us. ‘You know they have nothing to lose, but you and I as members of the New Patriotic Party would have failed Ghanaians should 2016 elude us,” he appealed passionately.

Receiving the items, Rasheed Mohammed the Nassara Coordinator of the Constituency thank the aspirant for his kind gesture and promised him that they will do the right thing when they go to the polls.
