We Thank Striking Doctors For Listening To Our Cry... - Kabila

Former National Youth Organizer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr, has commended the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) for calling off their strike action.

Kabila thanked the doctors and their leaders for finally providing health care to patients after several calls on them to rescind their decision.

According to Kabila, the doctors' should however go to the negotiation table with government to address the issue of their conditions of service.

Commenting on the latest development in the health sector on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", the CPP devotee advised the Mahama government not to take the doctors' decision for granted.

He admonished the government to change its approach in dealing with the doctors.

To him, the government should take a critical look at the doctors' conditions of service and pass it into the law in order to improve the doctors' situation.

"We thank the doctors for listening to the public outcry and the calls from leaders of the nation..."
