NPP Must Put Their House In Order; NDC Is Taking Notes For 2016 - Atik Mohammed

Aspiring General Secretary of the People's National Convention (PNC), Atik Mohammed, has made a solemn call on the leadership of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to put their house in order.

Making his submissions on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Atik Mohammed noted that the NPP is gradually being ensnared by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) due to some issues that have cropped up at the forefront of the party.

The Treasurer of the NPP Abankwah Yeboah and the party's Vice National Chairman Freddy Blay were on Friday August 28, 2015 invited by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The CID invited them for interrogation over allegations that the two executives have diverted funds belonging to the party without following due process.

Commenting further, Atik Mohammed warned the NPP not to blow the allegations out of proportion since it has caught the eye of the members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“NDC is taking notes. They may not speak to this issue very extensively now. But don’t forget it that with the NDC, when it comes to propaganda; they have extremely retentive memory."

He therefore advised the NPP to "rediscover their focus; what do they seek to achieve and how to get to their destination...

“...but if they don’t have a focus and everybody stays there and keeps reacting to one another, they will continue doing this internal battle until 2016 elections are done.”
