Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister, Nana Oye Lithur has said she was contemplating going to parliament but was not sure whether to compete in the upcoming National Democratic Congress� (NDC) parliamentary primaries. According to her, should she make up her mind to contest, she would be eyeing either the Shama, Odododiodio, Krowor or Akropong seats. Earlier in June, Nana Oye Lithur denied rumours that she had declared her intentions to contest for the Odododiodio seat in the Greater Accra Region. However, in a twist of events, the gender minister Monday said in an interview on Accra-based radio, Joy FM that she was interested in contesting in the parliamentary primaries but was unsure which seat she was interested in. �I�m interested in contesting but not this time�Actually, I�m spoilt for choice. It could be Greater Accra, it could be Eastern, it could be Western Region. It could be Shama, it could be Odododiodio, it could be Nungua Krowor or Akropong. So I�m actually spoilt for choice,� she said. Asked when she intended to pick her forms, Nana Oye Lithur had this to say, �Let�s see how it goes. We�ll see how it goes. Watch this space�.
