NPP Behaving Llike Scarecrows - Kofi Adams

National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams has stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is behaving like ‘scarecrows’ over the call for a new voters register in the country.

He said the call for a new voters register by the biggest opposition party is frivolous and vexatious argument which must to treated with the contempt it deserves.

The NPP is ratcheting up pressure on the Electoral Commission (EC) to compile a new voters’ register before 2016 elections asserting that, there are names and pictures in the electoral data of both Ghana and Togo. But according to the NDC Natioanal Organizer, the NPP is deliberately twisting facts and figures to suit their political agenda.

“The NPP is behaving like scarecrows. They are always changing phases to situations and disrupting Ghanaians from what Mahama is doing” he noted.

Kofi Adams said the NPP, in their quest to win power is intentionally throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians just to win power.

He said “the all die be die spirit is worrying NPP because their flag bearer want to be president at all cost”. Mr. Adams said the recent happenings in the opposition party shows there is no spirit in the party now so they are holding onto straws.

He urged the NPP to rather concentrate on putting their acts together and stop the baseless attacks on the credibility of the voters register.

Kofi Adams said if the leader of the opposition party, Nana Akufo-Addo cannot even solve problems in his party how can he claim he will be a better President. “If you can’t be a class prefect, how can you be a school prefect?” he quizzed.
