Mr Philip Kofi Ntiamoah, Brong Ahafo regional chairman of Ghana Hotels Association asked the affected facilities to take measures and rectify the situation. He charged proprietors to ensure that they obtained the relevant documents to operate, including the Ghana Tourist hotel licence, Vat Service certificate of registration, Internal Revenue Service tax and Fire Service certificate. The regional chairman stressed that in order for them to operate efficiently they needed to employ skilled managers and receptionists. Mr Kingsley Hayford Ababio, Brong Ahafo regional president of the Ghana Traditional Caterers Association urged operators of restaurants to exhibit a high standard of respect for their customers, personal hygiene and neat surroundings to increase their patronage.
