Dr Tetteh urges Ghanaians to cheer Black Stars to victory

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, a renowned Ghanaian Evangelist at the weekend called on Ghanaians to rally behind the Black Stars to win the crucial World Cup qualifying match against their Sudanese counterparts on Sunday. Dr. Lawrence, who sent a solidarity message to the Black Stars from the UK through the Ghana News Agency, said a win for Ghana would be a stepping stone for the country to achieve the desire to take part in the World Cup tournament in South Africa in 2010. �At this time, unity is very crucial for the Black Stars. For the Black Stars players to stay focus, they need a united front to achieve that purpose,� he stressed. �It is very important for the nation to know that a win is very important. Victory of the Black Stars will put Ghana in a positive light on the world sports stage.� Dr Tetteh, a football enthusiast, who camped with the Black Stars during the African cup of Nations (CANN 2008), called on the technical team and the football authorities to respect decisions of the coach to facilitate the victory of the playing body. He also admonished the players to be disciplined and reply solely on God for success.
