Massive Endorsement And Violence Free Elections

The Movement for JM Toaso is a group to advocate the achievements, good work and his track records of His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama to Ghanaians and people at the grassroots to ensure one one-touch victory in the 2016 Elections.

The Movement for JM Toaso currently has about two thousand (2000) active members and regional, constituency and branch coordinators throughout the country.

As the historic Presidential and Parliamentary Elections of the great National Democratic Congress (NDC) approach, the leadership of the “Movement for JM Toaso” would like to take this opportunity to call on all party members to come out in their numbers on the 21st of November, 2015 to give His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, massive endorsement and also to vote for Parliamentary Candidates that will win the seats to represent their people and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

The leadership of the “Movement for JM Toaso” also calls on every member of the great NDC to abide by the rules and regulations governing the elections and never indulge in any violent acts that could mar the beauty of the elections and cause violence of any kind.

There is more than enough evidence to show to the good people of Ghana that His Excellency deserves a second term to consolidate the great progress that he has achieved in his first term.

Massive Endorsement

The good leadership shown by the His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama that has endeared him to members of the party and majority of Ghanaians, who voted for him and will vote for him again confirms the fact he stands unopposed in the forth coming Presidential Election.  It is evident in every corner of this country that the President has produced desired results that will earn him one-touch victory in next year’s Presidential Elections as he stands tallest in terms of his track records among other candidates in other political parties.

Ghanaians are therefore patiently waiting for members of NDC to give the President the endorsement so they will vote for him in 2016 to retain him to continue his good works by “Changing Lives and Transforming Ghana”

JM deserves massive endorsement for the reasons below among many other achievements.

Road Network

Notable among the many projects completed and being completed and some yet to begin pretty soon are the many road networks done linking many parts of Ghana to one another. Examples include the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra, the Eastern Corridor Road Network from Southern Volta all the way to the Upper East Region, Tamale-Wa Road, the Accra-Kumasi Highways and several other roads constructed and being constructed at various parts of the country.

Healthcare

It is unmatchable that under President, John Dramani Mahama, there has been massive investment in the health sector of this country. Many health centres across the country have been resourced with equipment and medical supplies. A number of tangible medical and health facilities have been built up and some are being built. Among them are the 37 Military Hospital in Kumasi, the Upper Eastern Regional Hospital in Bolga, the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa, the Ridge Hospital in Accra and many polyclinics and other health centres being put in various parts of the country.

Education

Under this current President, the educational sector has also had its share of the national cake and there has been improvement in the educational sector in many ways, many among them are the high intake of students of Colleges of Education and Nursing Training Colleges. The Free Progressive Senior High School Programme in the Party’s Manifesto has also begun. One hundred and twenty-three (123) out of the two hundred (200) Senior High Schools promised by the President have been awarded on contract with a number of them having been commissioned.

 Energy

For so many years, the energy situation in Ghana has not been good even under previous governments. The recent past “dum” is giving way to “sor” as all Ghanaians can now attest to this fact that the bad energy situation has improved and as the President said during the last State-of- the-Nation Address that he would fix the energy situation in Ghana permanently, he will surely fix it if you all endorse him to pave the way for him to get retained by the good people of this country.

There has been huge investment made by this administration in the energy sector to help arrest and eventually kill power outages in Ghana now and in the future.

Security

Every Ghanaian can attest to the noticeable peace and security experienced in this country. Under His Excellency, President, John Dramani Mahama, Ghana has enjoyed peace and security and there is no denying fact his administration has maintained peace and security very well and Ghanaians could go on with their daily duties without fear and panic.  The Army, the Air Force, the Navy, the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Fire Service and other security agencies have all enjoyed some good investment in one way or the other to help to continue to keep Ghana in a secure, serene and peaceful environment conducive for economic, social, physical and cultural activities.  It is rather sad that a political party’s candidate that wants to be a president by all means would want to disturb the relative peace enjoyed by Ghanaians with its youth leader trying to call the youth of this country for an uprising.

Others

The president has performed very well in all other sectors that have not been mentioned here and the results are evident and the good people of this country can bear witnesses to them.

Violence Free Elections

The leadership of the “Movement for JM Toaso” wishes to call on the party’s National Executive Members, the Regional Executive Members, the Constituency Executive members and Branch Executive Members and all participating candidates in the Parliamentary Elections to hold firm the democratic creditials of the great National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ensure violent-free elections before, during and after the 21st of November, 2015.

The leadership of the Movement for JM Toaso wishes to advise all Parliamentary Candidates to be mindful of their political language before, during and after the elections to help the party record violent-free elections. All candidates are urged to advise their followers to be law-abiding and to follow the rules and regulations governing the elections to help the party have violent-free elections.

The Movement for JM Toaso commends all candidates and branch executive members of the party for the peaceful atmosphere in which the ongoing Parliamentary Elections campaign have experienced so far. We urge them to consolidate this on the 21st of November, 2015 to help deepen the Internal Party Democracy enjoyed in the great NDC.

The leadership of the Movement for JM Toaso also wishes to task all faithful party members to be on the alert to weed out all political moles and “foreigners” that would want to cause problems and commotion to destroy the beauty of the elections. Those found to want to engage or found to have engaged in activities that could affect the results of the elections should be handed over to the law enforcement agencies to deal with them.

We call on all democratic, peaceful party members to help protect the sanctity of the elections on the 21st of November, 2015.

We also urge all party members to help bring to fruition the reforms introduced by the party that will be practiced for the first time on the party’s political calendar, so that the party could be more enviable and inviting to get more people to join the  great party.

We wish the President a massive endorsement. We wish all parliamentary candidates good luck.

Long live the Movement for JM Toaso
