Reverend Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Pastor in charge of the Mount Moriah Congregation, Danfa of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, on Christmas Day said Christmas is about forgiveness and giving.
He, therefore, urged members of his congregation to go and reconcile with anybody they need to reconcile with, in addition to sharing Christ with them.
“If you are here and you are not on talking terms with someone, go home and reconcile with the person, not only that, also share Christ with them,” he said.
Reverend Ayim, who is also the Director of the Ga Presbytery Prayer Centre, said Christmas reminds us of God, Himself coming to us in human form, just to reconcile human beings to Him.
“When God created the earth, He gave human beings good things, however, man through disobedience created a gap between God and Man,” he said explaining that God in His own wisdom and Mercy sacrificed his only son to reconcile man to himself.
Reverend Ayim urged Christians to forsake evil and do good to honour God.
The Christmas day service was also used to baptize over 55 children.
