It Would Be An Achievement If Reggie & Bollie Were Called Fools Hammer

Ghanaian musician Reggie and Bollie made Ghana proud this year when they participated in UK’s musical reality show X Factor and came second.

After that glorious moment, a lot of controversies followed up as to whether they deserved it or not and what they had that the others did not have.

One of such was Ace British journalist and television personality Piers Morgan who called the duo a couple of Tuneless Karaoke singers.

In a reply to that, head of the Last Two Music Group, Hammer in a post on Facebook said it would even be an  achievement if the duo were referred to as fools.

His reason is that it is not easy for a Ghanaian to get such a recognition on the international front and be mentioned in posts by renowned British Citizens who are making changes in their various fields.

His post read;

I get it… Piers Morgan and a couple of prominent world figures say Reggie and Bollie Babeface can’t sing. Fine… Fact is who cares? How many ppl in ghana can really say Piers Morgan has mentioned or noticed them. Point is the real price is international notoriety and they achieved that. An international fan base that they can take advantage of etc. guys pls… Two ghetto boys from some corner in west africa, Ghana, Accra were just mentioned by Piers Morgan. Even if he had said they were fools it wld still be an achievement. Can the local critics say the same about their own popularity? Does Piers Morgan know them?
