2016 Is Year Of Increase- Rev Jehu-Appiah

Reverend Judanopa Abdi Jehu-Appiah, Head Pastor of The Word Force Ministry, has encouraged Ghanaians especially Christians to stand tall with the Lord in 2016.

He said 2016 has a lot of positive spiritual benefits to offer and the enemy would like to play tricks if Christians do not pray.

“In 2016 the Lord will step strongly into Psalm 85:12, which says: ’Yea, the Lord shall give us that which is good and our land shall yield her increase,’ to operate.

Rev Jehu-Appiah said individuals who would take advantage of this to pray would testify to its fulfilment.

“As we step into 2016 let us remind ourselves that it’s an elections year, and as Christians or Ghanaians we should not allow ourselves to be manipulated by politicians just because they want to win power.

“Jesus gave us two great commandments, which encourage us to love God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to love our neighbours as ourselves.

“We should endeavour to obey the word of God to the fullest and love every one whether Ewe, Asante Ga, Fante or Frafras as ourselves.

“We should not allow politicians to turn us against each other. Worshipping God is all about loving God and Man. We should also not vote because someone paid us to do so, but must be convinced that the person has the qualities of a good leader. No one should sell his or her votes to any politician since such selfish act always affects all of us as a nation.”

Rev Jehu-Appiah said politicians must not play on the ignorance of Ghanaians and should not make promises that they cannot fulfill.

He said: “Politicians should not promise whales when they know they can provide salmons, and to promise miracles when they know they don’t have the anointing to perform them. They should also know that every lie told to win power will be punished by God Almighty.”

Rev Jehu-Appiah asked the clergy to help bring dignity to the call of God in 2016, adding the “mess is too much”.

“True anointing always focuses on winning souls for kingdom expansion more than individual selfish expansion. If they truly believe the anointing is genuine then people’s focus must be drawn to God and not to the Pastor and if the anointing is from God they must stop selling it, for more to benefit as our Lord and Master Jesus Christ and His disciples did.

“The Bible said in Matthew 10:8: ‘Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely yea have received, freely give.’

“Christianity is undergoing a lot of negative challenges because Christian have stop studying the Bible, and because of this they are falling victims to ‘419’ pastors. Christians must rise up study the Bible to help manage this mess,” he said.
