The burial and funeral ceremonies of the late Isaac Yeboah attracted a large number of personalities, musicians, music producers and other stakeholders in the music industry, who gathered to bid him farewell.
Before the burial, the body was laid in state at the Abrantie Spot on Friday, January 29 for public viewing, after which a pre-burial was held for him on Saturday January 30, 2016.
The remains of Isaac Yeboah was laid to rest last Saturday at his hometown, Mbrofroma Akinim near Elmina in the Central Region, after a burial service at the Abrantie Spot in Accra.
Abrantie Amakye Dede, Ahmed Banda, aka Bandex, Kwasi Ernest, yaw Oxborn, Akosua Agyapong, Kofi Nti, Kofi B, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ivy Stone, Obuoba J.A. Adofo, Yaw Labito, Grace Ashy, Superintendent Kofi Sarpong, Kofi Sammy and a host of others was present.
Nana Akufo-Addo, NPP’s presidential candidate, led the NPP delegation, whilst John Asiedu Nketia, general secretary of the NDC, led his party’s delegation to mourn with Amakye Dede and Isaac Yeboah’s families.
Elizabeth Ofosus-Adjare, minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, also led a delegation from the tourism ministry to mourn with the bereaved families.
Abrantie Amakye Dede, who broke down in uncontrollable tears at the funeral ceremony in his tribute, stated that the late Isaac Yeboah, who was also the editor-in-chief of the P&P and a panel member of Peace FM’s Entertainment Review, was a man who showed positive thinking in all his endeavors.
He said his late manager was a good friend and a brother whom he shared ideas with, adding, “it is sad to lose a very good friend and a brother like Isaac Yeboah.”
A number of Ghanaian musicians like Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Kofi B, Kofi Nti, Amakye Dede, Nana Kofi, Koi Sammy, among others, mounted the stage to perform one after the other.
