The 22 year-old man suspected to be involved in money rituals has been found dead in a well at Asokore, a community in the Eastern region.

The body of Eric Boakye was discovered in the well after several hours of manhunt.
It is unclear how the deceased ended up in a well dead but residents say they suspect some unknown persons behind his death.

The deceased, 22, was alleged to have used his late son for money rituals but failed.

According to residents, he was subsequently struck by a strange ailment that saw his body peeling off and decomposing but was reportedly abandoned by his family. 

The incident which saw hundreds of residents trooping to the community to catch a glimpse of the deceased body has shocked most residents.

The body has been conveyed to the morgue.
