Jake Was A Very Important Organisational Pillar In NPP - Asiedu Nketiah

General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, eulogising the late Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, the former National Chairman of the opposition NPP has described him as a genuine NPP member who stood for the ideologies of his party with his strength.

The NDC Chief Scribe described the late former Chief of Staff in the erstwhile Kufour’s administration as someone who worked with conviction even when the NPP held a position which was not right.

Otanka "Jake" Obetsebi-Lamptey passed away early Sunday in London where he was seeking medical attention.

Paying tribute to the former Minister of Tourism, Asiedu Nketiah on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show averred that Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey believed more in organisation than radio talk show as he was not always seen on radio.

....but he was very important organisational pillar in NPP...his style of work is that he works with conviction which there is no second thought that if we are looking for a genuine NPP who believes in the ideologies and work with them with his strength, you will find any apart from him; even when the NPP holds a position they know is wrong, Jake will pursue it with his strength,” Asiedu Nketiah eulogised.

He was the campaign manager for President Kufour to win power for the first time that opposition party was taking over from incumbent government. He has added quota to help Ghana’s democracy,” he emphasized.
