He is an acclaimed ‘Angel’, a bishop and a prophet – but very controversial in his spiritual matters and sayings.

The leader and founder of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim says that an assigned ‘Angel’ to him by his father ‘Jesus Christ’ is against fornication and adultery.

Bishop Obinim, years back, was accused of having an affair with his junior pastor’s wife – he admitted the deed and prayed for forgiveness from God and his wife.

Ever since, the controversial healer claims he has desisted from all forms of fornication and stayed true to his gospel musician wife, Mrs. Florence Obinim.

This he said was made possible because of an ‘Angel’ living in him – but was emphatic that he is still not perfect.

“Jesus Christ said I should not fornicate, I should not drink alcohol, I should not go to the club, I should not smoke or seek powers from lesser gods so I don’t do all these things. The angel in me doesn’t even like those things so I am very cautious,” he said.

In an interview with UTV’s morning show Adekye Nsroma the man of God noted that, despite trying to be ‘holy’, he is not “perfect”.
