God Will Deal With You - Counselor Lutterodt Warns

Popular radio and television relationship counselor, Reverend George Lutterodt, has cautioned people who disagree with his comments about relationship matters to be wary of their utterances and not to insult him.

In an interview with Showbiz on Friday, Counselor Lutterodt said that although he does not have an issue with people disagreeing with him about his views, he takes exception to the trend where people share his videos and quotes out of context on social media in order to malign him.

“I am just warning those who are speaking loosely to be careful of what they say. If you quote me verbatim, I am ok, but if you misquote me, then you are bringing the wrath of God over your life,” he said.

Counsellor Lutterodt, who describes himself as an agent of change, said he has the call of God over his life with a focus to reduce the rate of bad relationships and marriages which later lead to abuse and divorce. Therefore, he treats his calling with all seriousness.

“I have taken so many years to research why people are now unable to stay in marriages. I know that if people start well, their marriages will last and when this happens, whichever country they live in becomes a prosperous country. God never gave Adam a wife when Adam had nothing in the Garden of Eden,” he said.

Reacting to a recent publication online by a blogger, titled Counsellor Lutterodt Must Be Banned from the Media, he said he was giving the author of the publication time to apologise to him or else face legal action.

“After going through the publication, I noticed that all the things he wrote are lies. He has misquoted me and has even taken my photograph without my permission and defamed me by lying about things I have not said.

“I think that people must learn that we do not insult. Many say I am harsh but I believe I am straightforward and passionate about what I do,” he added.

He said he was however not discouraged by these types of comments but was rather motivated since they indicate that people are listening to his words and his words are having an impact on society.

“Change cannot be forced on anybody. but the secret is that my message will go down well with some and not go down well with others. I have grown to learn that truth is hard and the Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

“We have massaged the truth to suit the rhythm people feel comfortable dancing to, and this has not helped. If it is a spade, we are not calling it a big spoon; we are calling it a spade,” he said.

“I want to remind women that if you allow a poor man to marry you, a man who cannot feed himself three times plus a common snack, you will die early because you will murmur in the marriage.

You will always be thinking evil in the marriage and if you’re not careful, you will commit adultery because there would be men who will approach you with sex in order to lift you out of the poverty,” he said.
