To NDC’s Koku Anyidoho, there is absolutely nothing wrong with former Transport Minister, Dzifa Attivor’s alleged tribal comments which has generated some controversy in the media.

Despite the National Peace Council’s call for the former minister to apologize – Koku insists Mrs. Attivor’s comments is not tribal as purported.

Attivor’s comments according to political pundits sought to pitch the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) against supporters of the NDC in the Volta Region – some claim that does not propagate a well decent political atmosphere in the region ahead of this year’s election.

Dzifa Attivor at an NDC rally in the Volta charged party supporters in the region to keep the NPP out of power otherwise people from the Volta Region who are members of the governing NDC will be jailed.

She mentioned Victor Selormey and Dan Abodapki, two former NDC government officials jailed for causing financial loss to the state as examples of NPP's persecution of Ewes.

The former minister also suggested that she is very likely to be jailed if the NPP is voted into power in the November polls for her role in the controversial bus branding saga and subsequent resignation as transport minister.

In an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show Ghana Montie - the deputy chief scribe of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho maintained that Dzifa Attivor just affirmed what the NPP is capable of doing should they come into power.

“This is not something new. If that is what she said, then I don’t see the reason why people are lambasting her. She has said nothing wrong. People have said worse things than this,” he told host Kwesi Aboagye
