Kotoko players donate to injured teammate Owusu Jackson

Players of Asante Kotoko have donated GHC 200 to injured teammate Owusu Jackson.

The players presented the money to their injured colleague at his residence in Kumasi on Monday.

Jackson has been ruled out of the season after sustaining a horror injury in a Sunday special game prior to the start of the season.

Owusu Jackson expressed gratitude to his teammates for their kind gesture.

“Jackson Owusu is a colleague who could not be part of that rare visit and meeting. He would have gone there with us if not for the fact that he is injured.

“We gave him the money so he would feel like he went with us. This is because though he is not with us in person, we feel his presence around us wherever we go or play” said Amos.

Kotoko will take on rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Monday in match-day 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
