Ghanaians Must Change Their Attitudes - Kabila

James Kwabena Bomfeh has advised Ghanaians to change their attitude in order to end the persistent flooding in the country.

According to James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly known as Kabila, partly blamed the citizenry for the floods and stressed that the floods will not subside until Ghanaians change their ways of living.

He told host Nana Yaw Kesse on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' that the behaviour of Ghanaians dumping refuse in trenches should cease.

Heavy downpours at the weekend left the capital city in distress. Parts of Accra were submerged in floods.

A Daily Graphic report captured some residents at Kaneshie dumping refuse into the flood waters.

Kabila condemned such attitudes, stressing that the refuse choke the drainage systems causing floods anytime there is rainfall.

He further urged the citizenry to stop building along waterways so as to prevent floods and casualties.
