Supporters of embattled Political Show host of Accra-based Montie FM, Maase Salifu aka Mugabe Tuesday attacked some journalists preventing them from covering the hearing of the contempt charges brought against him, owners of the station and two other panelists.

Journalists who had been assigned to cover proceedings from the court had to run for dear lives as the supporters of the Montie FM host and panelists charged on them outside the court premises. Some were heckled and had to run for dear life as they claim the police could not immediately control the erratic crowd.

"When the crowd that was waiting for me outside the courtroom turned their attention to cheer on Mugabe after he emerged from the courtroom, the two policemen rushed to bring me out and helped me escape through a back door, they stopped a taxi which was passing by and pushed me into it...," he naratted sadly.
