Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be a better manager of Ghana’s economy; therefore, Ghanaians should give him the chance in this year's elections to become the next president, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of the three-time flageaber has said.
Speaking at a forum in Accra Wednesday July 20, Mrs Akufo-Addo said: “I am asking you all to make a change this year, a change from [NDC] to the NPP”.
“[I] give you the assurance that my husband Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will come and make things better for Ghana.
“We are all feeling the pinch at the moment, it’s a fact, and we should accept it, we need a good leader, a better manager of this country and I can assure you that he [Nana Akufo-Addo] is the better manager for Ghana, who will move us forward so that we can have employment for our children, who finish school, who are sitting at home without jobs. We can have a better economy.
“I can also assure you that the combination of Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia will be a great team for Ghana, so I’m pleading with you [to] give Nana a chance this year and he will not disappoint you.”
