NPP Parliamentary candidate for Lawra, Anthony Abayifa Karbo is wondering why the NDC National Organizer Kofi Adams is in the campaign team of President John Dramani Mahama.

Anthony Karbo lambasted President Mahama and the NDC for supporting both Kofi Adams and the Deputy General Secretary of the governing NDC, Koku Anyidoho.

According to him, these persons were the late President John Evans Atta Mills' nightmare during his regime.

“Those who despised your boss, those who made it very uncomfortable for him, those who sponsored a candidate to contest him; are being rewarded and managing your campaign and on top of it, it is happening at the backyard of the man who was tormented. We leave it to the people of Ghana and the people of NDC," he said.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Karbo was of a view that Kofi Adams' presence in the party's leadership cadre as well as Mr. Anyidoho is apparently a desecration of the memory of the late President.

He strongly believed the strategy for the NDC under the regime of the late President Mills was to "get Mills off the way and bring in John because he became the eventual beneficiary of all that’s going on.”

“Who were those who gave Mills headache? Who were those who didn’t believe that Mills will be next President of Ghana in 2012 and that it was time for Mills to be changed? Who were those? The same campaign coordinator! Today, they’ve been rewarded . . . This is the ultimate. They have been given. This is exactly what they wanted."
