Criticise Government Responsibly - Togbe Drah VII

Togbe Kwasi Drah VII, Paramount Chief of Anfoeta Traditional Area, has called on Ghanaians to help put the government on its toes through responsible and fair criticisms.

He said it is unfair how some people hurled insults at the President and made uncomplimentary remarks about him without regards to his office and position.

Togbe Drah said this during the annual yam festival celebration of the chiefs and people of Anfoeta in the Volta Region.

“It is disheartening to see the way indiscipline and moral decadence is eating up our society slowly,” he said.

The chief lauded the government for embarking on the reconstruction of the Bame-Anfoeta-Kpedze road which, he said, has been in a deplorable state for a long time.

Togbe Drah thanked the President for granting the community a new technical school, with much prospects for young people in farming community.

He appealed to parents and guardians to make a conscious effort to take advantage of the opportunity given them.

Togbe Drah called for the provision of agricultural machinery and farm inputs to boost agriculture in the Ho West District.
