PHOTOS: Nkawkaw Gives Veep A Rousing Welcome

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur this afternoon received a rousing welcome at the Nkawkaw Constituency; a place known to be the stronghold of the opposition New Patriotic Party.
 
Addressing a massive crowd at the Old Taxi station, the Vice President said the numbers that came to receive him shows that they acknowledge the massive development that the NDC has made in the area.
 
He called on the people of the area to vote massively for President Mahama to continue with his accelerated pace in development. He also called for a peaceful election before and after the elections.
 
Mr Amissah -Arthur called on the people of Kwawu to give John Mahama a one touch victory and explained that the objective of the NDC is to support the vulnerable and deprived to also climb the socio-economic ladder.
 
This he claims should influence the electorates to give the NDC another chance for development.  
 
Mr Kwesi Amissah-Arthur said the NDC is a united and peaceful party and with unity and development, the country would go on. He reechoed the need to vote for Halidu the NDC candidate for the area.
 
He said that NDC government is focused on bridging the development gap between the urban and rural communities. Adding that the NDC government, is determined to do this in collaboration with the people by equally distributing the national resources even to remotest part of the country. The Vice President advised them to desist from voting skirt and blouse and vote as a united party.
 
He added that the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Nkawkaw constituency Tamimu Halidu, when elected to Parliament, would complement the efforts of President Mahama.
