President Obama and the First Lady pose alongside a very grown-up looking Malia and Sasha in this year's White House holiday card. 

For their final card as First Family, the Obamas have made the decision to use a candid image taken back in March during the State Dinner for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

That decision is somewhat of a shock, with the president and his family almost always choosing to mail out a card that shows either the White House covered with snow or one of its rooms decorated for the holidays.

This is also only the second time that a photo of the president has been used for the annual White House card.
