Korle Bu Gets GHC15,000 From Max International

Max International Ghana an industry leader in the global nutraceuticals, producers of Glutathione enhancement products, has presented a checque for GHc15, 000 to the Pediatric department of the Korlebu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The donation which forms part of the company’s social corporate responsibility is expected to help treat children with cancer and also to buy medical equipment for the pediatric oncology unit

Presenting the cheque Dr Kofi Nyarkopong, Max International Diamond Associate said under the company’s annual corporate social responsibility  program the company makes donations to support the disadvantaged in society.

He said the company, producers of Glutathione enhancement products, made a cash donation of GHC20,000  to the Ghana Society for the Physically Disabled last year.

The annual charity initiative that sits well with Max International’s way of “assisting poor and disadvantaged communities around the world by providing them the resources they need to get ahead we provide the life-changing benefits of our patented, science-based products to the world strives to make a difference in people’s lives," said Dr Nyarkopong.

Receiving the Deputy Director of Administration Mr Kambarin Kombien thanked the management of the company for the gesture which according to him will go a long way to safe lives.

He said there is a research going on which make it possible for doctors to find causes and to treat unborn babies with cancer.
