AN OFFICER with the Kintampo Police Command, Lance Corporal Ebenezer Addae, at dawn on Saturday met his untimely death when a motorbike he was riding ran into a stationary articulator truck near the Kintampo Waterfall on the Tamale-Kintampo road, DAILY GUIDE has gathered.
Lance Corporal Ebenezer Addae was said to have closed from his duty post at about 4:30 am and was heading towards home when his Absonic motorbike veered off the road and hit the stationary vehicle. The motorbike has the registration number M-14NR1369 and the truck’s is AS 4132 X.
The truck was allegedly parked on a section of the road without a warning triangle or a reflector.
The mortal remains of the cop has since been deposited at the Kintampo Government Hospital.
However, the Regional Police PRO Sergeant Sampson Gbande, said the issue had not come to his notice.
