JCE Principal Lauds Napo�s Appointment

The Principal of Jackson College of Education, Mrs Theodosia W. Jackson has congratulated His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh to head the Education Ministry.

She said the appointment of the Manhyia South legislator was in order since he has proven himself well as a man of high integrity in the discharge of his duties as a public servant.

Mrs Jackson indicated that she is of the firm belief that his tenure will witness a major transformation and improvement in the education sector.

The Principal whose entire working life has been devoted to the education industry in Ghana, encouraged Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh not to disregard the importance of private tertiary institutions in the nation.

She appealed to him to unfold and spearhead policies that will provide the enabling environment for Private tertiary institutions to thrive.

"At Jackson College of Education we partner government in the training of productive manpower needed to dispense quality education to the Ghanaian Child in the difficult and remote areas where many teachers refuse to accept postings to teach, "she said.

Mrs Theodosia Jackson assured the minister that her institution will strongly collaborate with him and the Ministry to discharge effective policies that will propel Ghana's educational sector to a higher height.
