Mahama Missing At State Of the Nation Address

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo delivered his 1st State Of The Nation Address yesterday in an august ceremony graced by all high profile political protocols Ghana has but certainly without the immediate past President.

Ex-President John Rawlings and John Kuffour were present but John Mahama was missing though his vice K.B Amissah Arthur was present.

The last time we saw the honest Statesman was in Gambia with Nana Addo during the inauguration of Adama Barrow which we believe he has been back to Ghana because a check on his social media platforms proves so.

So one may ask why or what will make the celebrated statesman be absent from the distinguished democratic ceremony? Neither was there a goodwill message from him.

In Nana Addo’s State Of The Nation Address, he agreed to Ghana’s Economy being in a bad shape just as he foresighted during his campaign-era only with some few additional woeful surprises. However, he lamented that he wasn’t voted into power to complain so his government will fix Ghana in an Akufo-Addo way.
