Ben Nunoo Mensah Elected New GOC President

Ghana weightlifting Association President Ben Nunoo Mensah has been elected as the new Ghana Olympics Committee President.
 
Nunoo Mensah polled 33 votes as against former Professor Francis Dodoo’s 28.

He becomes the new GOC president hence replaces Francis Dodoo who had served on the committee for the past four years.

In other categories Fredrick Out and Theophilus Wilson were also elected as the Treasure and assistant treasure respectively.

Ghana Rugby Association President Herbert Mensah, Mawuko Afadzinu of the Ghana Table Tennis Association were all elected as part of the five representatives for Olympics Sports.
