Jukwa SDA Senior High School builds auditorium

Pastor Anthony Kessie, President of the South Ghana Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA), has broken the ground for the construction of 2,000 capacity auditorium estimated at 500,000 Ghana Cedis for SDA Senior High School at Gomoa Jukwa. The sod-cutting ceremony coincided with the launch of the seventh anniversary of the school. The Director of the School, Pastor Richard Ntriakwa said the New Jersey branch of the Seventh Day Adventist Church has donated 1,000 dollars towards the construction of the building. Pastor Kessie commended the Directors; Board of Governors, Headmistress and the Staffs of the School for their hard work, dedication and patriotism which had contributed to the growth of the school within seven years of its establishment. He said the Church would continue to support the School so that more boarding and other facilities could be built to enhance effective teaching and learning. He urged the students to make use of the Information Communication and Technology facility at the School for their benefit to enable them to be abreast of the fast global technological change. The School started with 123 students and now has a population of 245 boys and 330 girls.
