A Pro-NPP Group has called on the Disciplinary Committee of the party to bring sanctions against the Kumawu Constituency Chairman of the party, Mr. Joseph Danso, for showing gross disrespect against the President, His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

The NPP Constituency Chairman is on record to have openly dared the President to nominate a particular person for the Kumawu District.

According to Mr. Joseph Danso, the President will incur his wrath should he apppoint any candidate other than the one that he and the constituency have approved, warning "The President should dare appoint any nominee and we shall see."

But the National Youth Ambassador says the behaviour of Mr. Joseph Danso, is not only insulting but also an affront to the integrity of the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

They are therefore calling on the Disciplinary Committee of the party to bring the Constituency Chairman to book for his insolence and lack of respect for authority.

The group argued that as a Constituency Chairman, he ought to display leadership and refrain from issuing threats publicly against the President, the first Gentleman of the land.
