Suspend Kumawu Chairman- NPP Groups Tells Discipline Committee
A Pro-NPP group by name National Youth Ambassadors has called on the Discipline Committee of their party to sanction Mr. Joseph Danso.
The group has alleged that Mr. Joseph Danso, who is the Kumawu Constituency Chairman of the NPP, has shown gross disrespect to President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo when he dared him to nominate a particular candidate for the Kumawu District.
In a joint statement signed by the president and secretary of the group, they mentioned that Mr. Joseph Danso warned President Akufo-Addo that he will incur his wrath should he appoint any candidate other than the one that he and the constituents have approved.
it is on this note that the group has said that behavior of Mr. Joseph Danso, is not only insulting but also an affront to the integrity of President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
They have therefore called on the Discipline Committee of the party to bring the Constituency Chairman to book for his insolence and lack of respect for authority.
The group argued that as a Constituency Chairman, he ought to display leadership and refrain from issuing threats publicly against the President.
