Musama Disco Head Dead

A 60-YEAR-OLD Head Pastor of a branch of the Musama Disco Christo Church at Omankope, a suburb of Ningo in the Greater Accra Region has been shot dead in the early hours of Wednesday in what is suspected to be a contract killing.

The late pastor, George Jehu-Appiah was shot twice in his stomach by unknown assailants at his mission house in Kasseh, a suburb of Ada in the Greater Accra Region.

The body of the pastor who was recently transferred from a branch in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra to head the Omankope branch has been deposited at the morgue of the Police Hospital in Accra, pending autopsy while investigations continue.

Some residents who spoke with the DAILY GUIDE stated that they heard an unusual noise from the pastor’s room soon after hearing a sound of a motorbike.

“The pastor was heard asking ‘who is that opening my door by this time without my permission.’ Soon the place became quiet only to hear the pastor screaming ‘Jesus’ after a gunshot was heard twice from the house,” a resident stated.

According to the residents, the pastor dashed out from the room groaning, fell prostrate on the compound and gave up the ghost.

However, information gathered by DAILY GUIDE alleged that the church has been characterized by some serious misunderstanding leading to some members parting ways with it.

Upon his arrival at his new station, the late pastor was accommodated at a mission house at the Kasseh branch since the former is yet to complete its mission house. He was said to have joined the branch in the Palm Sunday service after he had returned from a funeral only to be murdered in the early hours of Wednesday by gunmen.
