Goal spoke to the Bucs offical about the attacking winger, who was reportedly arrested for being in possession of a stolen car on Tuesday morning.

Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Bernard Morrison was reportedly arrested for being in a possession of a stolen car according to the Daily Sun reports.

The Ghanaian-born is believed to have been detained at the Douglasdale Police Station in Randburg where he faces charges of robbery.

The player reportedly brought a car through an agent, but the agent didn’t pay the instalments.

Pirates administrative manager Floyd Mbele was completely taken aback by the reports of the 24-year-old’s purported arrest.

“Yoh, I don’t know, it’s the first time I’m hearing this. But I really don’t know because I haven’t been to the office yet,” Mbele told Goal.

Morrison has struggled since joining Bucs at the start of the season from DRC club AS Vita. Thus far, he has accumulated only nine appearances in all competitions.
